ABOUT

A lifelong resident of Spokane, Jonathan Bingle proudly calls Spokane home. Bingle attended Rogers High School and Spokane Falls Community College and built his life and career in the very community that shaped him. For the past 15 years, he has owned and operated a small business in Spokane — creating jobs, serving customers, and strengthening the local economy. As a small business owner, Jonathan understands firsthand the challenges families and employers face, especially during a time of rising costs.

Jonathan believes government should work for the people — not the other way around. He will be a strong voice in Olympia for families, local businesses, and responsible economic growth across our community and Washington State. He understands that small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and he will fight to reduce unnecessary regulations, oppose excessive taxation, and promote policies that allow working families to keep more of what they earn.

As a former Spokane City Councilman, Jonathan spent his time on City Council focusing on common-sense leadership and real results. His top priorities included strengthening public safety, addressing homelessness with accountability and compassion, expanding housing opportunities, and protecting economic development. He consistently supported first responders and worked to ensure they have the funding, tools, and respect they need to keep our communities safe.

Jonathan coauthored legislation to prohibit open drug use and possession in Spokane, helped pass measures to make city parks safer at night, and stood firmly against unnecessary tax hikes, utility rate increases, and pay raises for elected officials. He believes government should live within its means — just like the families it represents.

Now, Jonathan is ready to take that same commitment to accountability, public safety, and economic opportunity to the State Capitol. He will fight for policies that protect communities, support job creation, defend parental rights, and ensure Washington remains a place where families can thrive.

Jonathan and his wife Christina are raising their three children — Samuel, Levi, and Lily — in the same community they love. He is running for 6th Legislative District State Representative to ensure that Washington remains a place where families can live safely, work hard, and build a future with confidence.
